For Groups
We work in partnership with a number of NHS teams, including Teignbridge Community Mental Health team, Langdon Hospital, and the Community Forensic Team. To start with, team members visit to get to know us, meet the horses, view the facilities and see how we work. If we are running a session, sometimes team members can join the reflection with participants at the end. We also discuss any specific needs for people the teams refer for our groups. We work in small groups of up to six people. Team members and NHS support workers are included as part of the session. We develop long-standing relationships with our partners. Most teams commission our work and we design courses and retreats around the needs of people referred. We are open to developing new relationships which are a good fit for our ethos and funding. For initial enquiries, contact us by email at horsemanshipforhealth@gmail.com or telephone Belinda Seaward: 07968904256.
Team Days
We also offer team days to NHS and well-being teams during the spring and summer months. We have previously worked with the Psychology Team at Langdon Hospital and the Devon Well-being Hub. For individuals
People who wish to join our courses may refer themselves. We design recovery retreats for small groups of people. These retreats run through the spring, summer and autumn months. In the winter, we offer shorter sessions at our stables. We work with established mental health groups and charities.

We are currently developing retreats for families. Do get in touch if you are interested in learning more and joining our waiting list. horsemanshipforhealth@gmail.com.
Due to demand for our courses, we are unable to offer sessions one-to-one for children or adults.
